Sir Howard Stringer is stepping down as Sony's president & CEO, taking the position of Board Chairman, and our favorite Sony "Assface", Kaz Hirai, is taking his place. It's not a shock or anything. It's been expected for quite a while now. [more info]
I can't begin to guess whether he'll help turn a somewhat frumpy Sony around. All I really know about Kaz is that he tends to stick his foot in his mouth and likes to yell Ridge Racer. **shrugs**
