Stupid GoDaddy ( Last Updated: October 21st, 2015 )
Hey guys, GoDaddy hit me with a 9 year renewal of the guforums.com domain, instead of the 1 year reoccurring renewal I changed it to months ago. I was thinking of offering a GU walk-on role to anyone willing to donate $100 to cover the cost. For your donation I'll draw you, your character, or you AS your character into the comic about a game of your choosing. (If I don't know the game, you have to help with the joke though.)

I'm willing to take more than one donation, but be aware that only the first one will be used to recoup godaddy's ill-gotten pound of flesh. Any others will be used for nerdly sundry of my own choosing.

NOTE: This isn't something I need to keep GU or myself afloat. My job takes care of that. This is me shaking my fist in the face of unexpected GoDaddy asshattery. Besides, I thought it might be fun.
Contributor FAQ ( Last Updated: October 21st, 2015 )
This section should clear up any lingering questions you have about donating to GU and what exactly you can expect for your contribution.
Thanks for the Contribution!
Why PayPal?
PayPal makes it easy for me to keep track of the money coming into GU for tax purposes. And it allows me to accept donations via credit card.

What do you do with the money?
GU is my job. My only job. So that means that the money that comes in through commissions, donations, panel purchases, advertising, etc. all goes toward my living expenses.

Wouldn't it be easier to get a real job?
Definately, but it would mean that I'd no longer be able to keep producing the comics.

Do I have to use the donate button?
Yeah, right now I can really only accept money via PayPal. Please make sure the email address on your PayPal account is current. SOOO...

What if I don't have a PayPal account?
Honestly, PayPal is the only way I can really track what comes in. Sorry, I've just got so much on my plate, that it's necessary for me to set and adhere to very specific requirements.

So how much should I donate?
That is completely up to you. I'd honestly rather you click the advertising links or purchase something from the GU store. That way my sponsors, clients, etc. benefit too.

If $5 will do, why would someone donate $50?
Well, the truth is, different people have different standards for what they feel they can contribute.
