I know we've talked about it before, but the death system in WoW owns. When you die, you have three options.
Option number One is to run back to your corpse, accept the rez, and come back with a percentage of your health. Your run speed while in "ghost" mode is quicker than regular run speed. You do NOT have to be on top of your body to self-rez it. When you get close enough, you're prompted to rez. And, you can see if there are any mobs in the area before clicking accept. You lose no experience.
Option number Two is a group member rez. You come back with a percentage of your health. And, you suffer "rez effects", which is the temporay loss of strength, stamina, etc.
Option number Three is to use the Rez person by the bind stone at the cost of experience. The amount of experience you lose is dependant on level.
Anywho, the joke mixes the death system with the tradeskill system. In particular skinning. The skinning tradeskill allows you to skin animals for their hides. These hides can be used in a couple of the other tradeskills. As a low level skinner, you tend to get a LOT of ruined and light leather.
Please note:
You uh... can't skin humans... but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try.
