Nerd Culture: "Archer"

The producers of the cartoon series Archer, have decided to eliminate the name of the title character's spy network employer from their show and are now scrambling to decide what to do with Internation Secret Intelligence Service related merchandise. Considering the acronym, you can probably guess what the issue is. The name ISIS is everywhere in the news/political world right now. Unfortunately, it's also the acronym being used to indicate terrorist organization the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. [more info]
I'm in no way making light of what is happening in the real world. It's tragic, saddens and infuriates me. But Archer is huge in the nerd culture arena. I would like to see the creators tackle the issue head on. But, I understand not wanting to be associated with it at all.
The 6th season of Archer will air early next year.
