The Zapper!: "G4: Gaming TV"

Quite a few years ago I used to watch G4 game programming. I stopped when I just couldn't take Adam Sessler's voice any more. I was never big on Attack of the Show. It just didn't speak to me. So I'm not really feeling a loss from the news that NBC Universal is scrapping G4's game programming to become more of an Esquire/GQ channel. X-Play and Attack of the Show will cease airing this December. [more info]
I read about the plans for rebranding the station a couple of months ago. But I wasn't expecting the actual change over to happen for a while yet. And, because of the report I read, I honestly thought they would be moving to something with a "more sophisticated look while remaining true to its tech and [video] game roots". Now, I guess not so much.
As always it sucks that people will be losing their jobs, and I wish them all the best.

Well, this is the last weekend before I have to figure out which bills to juggle. Again, if you've been thinking about a commission or donating, please consider doing so now. I'll try to hide my fears for the coming months.
