Yeah this comic is BS. I don't care if game companies want to reward us for the choices we make surrounding the purchase of their games.
Recently I saw a lot of status updates on Facebook including this little graphic that compared "Unlocking all came content" in 2011 to 1996. The punchline being that, in 1996 all you had to do was open the box the game came in.
Yeah yeah those were simpler times. Blah blah blah. I just don't see the problem in game companies finding new ways to promote their games. **shrugs** Besides, if folks don't want to pay for the extra stuff, or dig around the pre-order options, then they don't have to. It's entirely an opt in situation.
Unless it's Catwoman.
