Dungeons & Dragons: "Running Joke"

After the knuckle joke came out, it resurfaced a few more times during the night. Not as many times as The Dead Alewives Dungeons & Dragons sketch (you're probably familiar with the Summoner Geeks version).
Running jokes are one of those beautiful aspects of D&D that I truly cherish. I mean, there were jokes in my original D&D group that showed up time and time again for years. Oddly enough, I can't remember any of them.
How about you guys?
