I don't like having a messy house, work area, etc. But, I also don't like cleaning. When I go into cleaning mode though it becomes a minor addiction.
That being said, the area around my desk is WRECKED right now. The mess is typically proportional to how busy I am. That is to say, if I'm working on comics, commissions, coding, merchandising, and trying to find the time to do new images for the Fancast and a personal project for my family... I just don't have the time to focus on keeping my desk clean. When all I have to do is the comic, fwoomp, all the mess disappears.
My desk has been messy for a while now.
