Gaming News: "WoW Movie"

Claiming Variety as the source, a rumor began circulating recently that, Academy Award winning director and avid gamer, Steven Spielberg was signing on to direct the recently announced World of Warcraft movie. But, with no credible proof being mustered and Blizzard stating that "no director [had] yet been chosen", it's safe to assume this is nothing more than one hopeful fan's cleverly placed, and widely distributed, dream.

Now, Mr. Spielberg is an admitted gamer. Hell, he even hits E3 each year. But, to think he'd drop everyting and take on a game-to-film adaptation, might be a bit of a stretch, even if it IS WoW. That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see it though. **whistles**
