Wordle: "The 6th Attempt"

I'd seen it around Twitter. The little emoji grid of colored boxes, gray and yellow and green. I'd seen the little struggles people associated with that grid. But, I had no idea what I was looking at. All I had was "Wordle" and a short string of numbers. That was enough to track it down.
I've been playing for two weeks now. I'm 14 100 14 14; 003434. And I love it.
Wordle is such a simple little game. But it can be devilish if you start off on the wrong guess. Let me break it down for you. You have six tries to guess a five letter word. On each guess letters are marked gray if they are not part of the correct word. Yellow if the letter is in the correct word but is in the wrong spot. Green if the letter is in the word and in the right spot. A new Wordle is available each day. Everyone in the world plays the same Wordle. And that's why the emoji grid means something to those of us that play. We can see the path other players took to get to the solution without giving away the answer itself. In terms of creating a free to play, viral success... that little emoji grid was a stroke of genius!
My only real complaint is that you can't go to previous puzzles that you haven't played. And you can't revisit the ones you have. It's a shame really. But, I'll take it.
