The weekend of May 25th, some Twitch user accounts were "taken over" and then used to broadcast what Twitch deemed "undesirable" content, including everything from Porn to Sports*. Though several channels were targeted, 'Artifact' (the channel for Valve's digital CCG) bore the brunt of the attention. In order to fight the problem Twitch made two-factor authentication a requirement for all streamers, and temporarily put a freeze on new accounts' ability to stream.
