The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 port of Mortal Kombat X has been cancelled by Warner Bros. Interactive. Citing an inability to meet quality standards set by the current console generation, despite their best efforts, the company is unwilling to release a subpar port that might undermine the game's overall rating. [more info] They didn't say that bit about the ratings. But, let's be honest. Why would a company want to release a version of their game for the previous generation of consoles and risk a poor experience on those platforms impacting the game as a whole?
Full refunds are being offered tho those who pre-ordered the PS3 or Xbox 360 version of the game.
