World of Warcraft: "Archeology"

I spent more than my fair share of time on Grek putting together Tol'vir artifacts, opening canopic jars, hoping for the Vial of the Sands a recipe that turns you into a dragon with the ability to carry an ally on your back. I didn't know until several months ago that you had to be an Alchemist to loot the recipe from the canopic jars. At the time I didn't have an Alchemist. Now, I do. But, I've never leveled his Archeology skill. Well, last night I decided to do just that. I managed to make it to level 76 before I couldn't take it any more. It's just so damn frustrating: survey, move, survey, move, survey, move, dig, fragment, 1 skill up. At this rate I'm not sure that I'll ever level up enough to find canopic jars on the alt let alone a Vial of the Sands.
So what about you guys, what's that one thing you wanted in a game, and just never got?
