Today I was reading about "The Last of Us" (yet again). The reviews have been consistently good. It's a shame that it's PS3 only as I don't own one of those. The article I was reading was loaded with spoilers. I don't know how, but I ended up looking at the comic Penny arcade did about the game a few days ago: Larvae. Having read the spoiler laden article I understood it. I immediately knew I needed to emulate it in some way. The direction I went was the only direction that made sense to me. Hopefully Mike and Jerry won't be too offended by my nod. But they're big enough now that I don't look at them like a peer comic. They're now a gaming news target. I mean when you start holding gaming conventions in different countries... you're a target.
The idea here was that Ted would have the same response to The Last of Us that Tycho did. But, not having a child to go hug, he goes and hugs Tycho. A sleeping hug for extra creepy.

Our friends over at Rocket City Studios are doing a beta test of their game Second Chance Heroes this weekend and they've give me some beta keys to hand out. Those keys will be applicable to the entire beta process though, not just this weekend. All YOU have to do is be one of the first 10 people to answer a handful of questions whose answers can be found by tooling around on the Second Chance Heroes website (http://2ndchanceheroes.com). When you have your answer email them to 2ch_beta@gucomics.com.
Here are the questions:
1) Characters: Name 3 of the game’s characters.
2) Features: How many players can play together cross-platform?
3) Characters: What weapon does Abraham Lincoln use?
4) FAQ: How many levels will 2nd Chance Heroes launch with?
5) Which character will you play?
It would also really help out our pals at Rocekt City Studios if you'd stop by Steam and give them a Greenlight YES vote!
Note: If you're worried you were not fast enough on the draw and missed the "first 10", send your answers anyway. We will likely be getting more keys and I'll continue to hand them out first come first served.
