At the Store: "Yes Ma'am"
Posted: Friday October 13th, 2006 by

Quite a few news sources are reporting on the struggles of storefronts dealing with pre-orders for the PS3 and Wii. I read too many to cite any one of them as a source. So, just hit gametab.com and look through the list; you'll find them. Including reports of PS3 pre-orders being auctioned on eBay for a thousand dollars more than the already expensive price tag.

So, with all that news bouncing around in my brain case, I wanted to illustrate the woes of the storefront owner (and or his employees) trying to deal with all the customers trying to get their hands on the Wii and PS3.

Now, I, for one, refuse to take part in the console crunch, especially when I look at eBay and see the PS3 pre-order auctions. But, I don't blame anyone that does. The love of gaming is not something I'd ever ridicule someone for. If they feel paying $1000 over asking price of the console "worth it", who am I to tell them it's not? To each his own right?
