Woody & Ted: "Monkey?"

It's been a long time since Monkey has been in the strip. And, given the sad state with which I stumbled back into my home, I figured it was time to confuse the issue as to whether monkey really exists again.
The truth of the matter is that it's more fun for me to leave the answer floating in the webcomic ether, unanswered and confusing. Whether he's ever classified "real" or not is inconsequential compared to the idea that he represents gaming excess, imaginary or otherwise.
So, no answer really needs to be offered... right?
