Albino Lullaby: "Grandchildren"

I mentioned Albino Lullaby, by Ape Law, in monday's comic. But, it interested me enough to inspire a comic of its own. It's an unsettling "horror" game with no gore or jump scares. It caught my attention the first time I saw what I called the "finger ghosts". Now I know they're called "Grandchildren" for reasons of plot that I will let you discover on your own. There was just something marvelously creepy about these angry sausage things chasing you around a colorful mad house.
I've watched a couple of gameplay streams now, and a Let's Play or two. So, I have a better sense of exactly how the grandchildren function, what their motivation is, and why you should avoid them. I should probably buy it. You know, add it to the list of other creepy games I own but have never played.
Have any of you guys played it? I'd like to hear your impressions.
