Gaming News: "Funcomstein's Monster"

LEGO Universe died an inglorious death less than a year and a half after its release. We zapped it. Now LEGO is breathing new life into their MMO monster with the help of Age of Conan developer, Funcom. Details are limited at the moment, but it is intended to be a family friendly, and targeted at "children and youngsters". [more info]
Now I know, as a brand, LEGO is not used to failure. But, forcing the issue when it comes to an MMO, might not be the wisest decision. I can only hope they've learned their lesson and direct Funcom to make the game Free-to-Play from the beginning AND infuse the game with the kind of charm we see in LEGO Batman, LEGO Star Wars, etc.
