Poopy Strip: "Netpocalypse"

Whoa man what a week. It started hitchy and got progressively worse until yesterday absolutely nothing. I finally gave in and called Comcast. And despite being told a repair man wouldn't be here until Sunday, he showed up a few hours ago and patched up the problem. Right now everything seems fine; but really, who knows?
If you follow the GU page on Facebook you probably remember that, a couple of months ago, a large tree limb (300+ pounds) fell on the power, phone, and cable lines in our backyard. The power company came and cut away the branch. But, the cable line was stretched to the ground. I pulled it back taut, but apparently the signal quality was degrading without us realizing it. Well, until a few days ago at least.
So yeah, cable guy came out, repaired the connection to the house, ogled my computer setup a bit, talked some about games, and I've been online since. Hopefully that's that. And really... it's been six months since the last Iggy. I think it was about time.
