The elf always impresses. I'm sure it has not to do with rolling a 4 and still hitting stuff.
I try to toss in a demand for a called shot any chance I get. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any rules for it in 4th edition. But seriously, you toss any kind of combat advantage into the mix and the elf doesn't seem capable of missing. When we see it though, we celebrate it. Not that we revel in his failure. **coughs** But rather it's a rare occasion that needs to be noted. Also mocked. But noted.
For the record, he did not ricochet the arrow off the ceiling.
