Rage: "Blobby McBlobblob"

id's Rage has been whipping certain factions of the gamer demographic into a hype frenzy for a while now. So the game finally releases today, and the gaming news sites are already awash with reports of messed up graphics in the PC version of the game.
So what's happening with the graphics? It's nothing major really. When you turn the graphics blob in before flipping to the more detailed texture maps.
Interweb sleuthing on the part of ever-clever gamers seems to indicate the issues were limited to those folks sporting AMD graphics cards. AMD has already rushed a "Rage Performance Driver" out the door. So hopefully that will resolve things for folks.
