Plants vs. Zombies: "My Deepest Sympathy"

My mom has played video games for as long as I've known what they were. Maybe she didn't play them to the same extent as us, but she was there, paddle or joystick in hand on the Atari 2600. So where I was marginally surprised that she'd fallen in love with Plants vs. Zombies it wasn't because it was a game; it was entirely because of the zombies. **shrugs**
Anywho, a while back I sent her one our extra DS's which she uses to pass the time while waiting for her doctor appointments. But now that Plants vs. Zombies is available for the DS I'm afraid we may lose her. I mean a version of PvZ she can carry everywhere with her? (She doesn't use a smart phone.) She may well spiral into gamer addiction and start consuming Mountain Dew and Doritos in mass quantities. (That's still what mainstream media believes about gamers now right?)
