The Zapper!: "Saw That One Coming"

Despite its intentions to focus on casual gaming, P2 Entertainment (formerly Perpetual) is closing up shop. P2 halted production on Gods & Heroes in October and sold the license and assets (not including the code) for Star Trek Online to "another studio" in January.

After dropping the two titles they'd been working on, liquidating their assets, getting into a legal dispute with TriplePoint (formerly Kohnke Communications), it seemed somewhat innevitable that the company that was once Perpetual Entertainment would hit the zapper HARD.
Again, I met some of the folks at Perpetual very early on. Seemed like good folks, on top of their game. But there's no glossy bits of Shakespearian poetry to soften the news this time around. Elegant words just don't do anything that can save one from the glowing blue tube of destiny.
