World of Warcraft: "Twinkling Continuity"

When WoW patched to 2.3, I was... busy. So you guys have kinda missed out on my responses to some of the changes.
Now, I thought I was done with the poop-quest-glove comics, but when I was told that quest objects now sparkle, my "interest" in the subject was sparked anew. Sure, I couldn't actually go back and re-do the quest. But this is a comic so I can twist things to meet my evil designs... BWAH HAH HA HA HAH HA HA! **coughs**
The real question here is why are sparkling poop gloves part of my evil design?
