Gaming News: "E3 Invitations"

News bits have begun to circulate that invitations to the "new" E3 are being handed out. And no, GU will not be receiving an invite. We're not big enough and aren't overly inclined to help artificially inflate the egos of big companies only interested in cranking up the hype machine. Of course, comics making fun of the process probably don't help my chances either. **grins**
I'm not upset that I won't be part of the in-crowd getting invited. I liked the atmosphere of the old E3. It was big, over the top, and the desire for hype wasn't tucked behind some attempt to focus the event, it was out there in the open flaunting its intentions.
So yeah, I'll go look for a new gaming event to attend... you guys struggle through the mental image of Ted in hotpants.
