The Matrix Online: "DarthNeo?"

Monday, March 27th, SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) introduced Combat Revision 2.0 to the Matrix Online servers. The upgrade included improvements to the UI, faster combat rounds, shorter animations, fewer puases in the action, new combat styles, revised weapon classes, damage rebalancing, et cetera.

When I read this news my inner gamer giggled at the idea that Matrix Online would follow the exact same path as SWG. So much so that Smed might get confused.
Now, to be clear, there is no indication that MxO will get a complete, game-altering overhaul a la SWG. And, being that I haven't played the game, I can't tell you if the game needs an overhaul or not.
