Gaming News: "Amazon's Game"

Ooof, that was a busy few days! **coughs**
Recently news started filtering out about Amazon offering Same Day Local Deliveries in 14 metro areas across the country: Seattle/Tacoma, San Francisco Bay, Los Angeles, San Diego, Pheonix, Dallas/Ft.Worth, Indianapolis, New York, Boston, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Tampa Bay. [more info] Then yesterday, I read that they had hired some major game development talent for a "new ambitious game project" they were working on that they hope will "unite players" and "produce some of the future's most influential voices in media and art". [more info] Considering today's free-to-play game schemes, I figure why not just combine the two and get that big ol' Win/Win for everyone.
My other idea, since they emphasized "using the latest technology", was to make a game where you used a VR headset to fly supply missions to troops on an alien world. In real life, this would translate to flying the rumored Amazon Delivery Drones to people's door steps.
With a designer like Kim Swift on the team you could totally make a game like that happen, right?
