The First Day: "On the Road"

The drive to take the kid to school is 20-25 minutes across town, then home, then back to get him, and back home again. I thought that much driving each day was going to be the death of me. My limited supply of patience completely disappears when I'm driving. Being subjected to inconsiderate dick bags leaves me bitter. But, for the most part, the drive is incredibly subdued. Even though I'm driving through the middle of downtown I only encounter traffic once. I have more issues with entitled bicyclers than with other drivers.
Speaking of entitled bikers...
I'm seeing more and more bicyclers paying attention to their phones and not to traffic. When did that become a thing? It's like they've made it our job as drivers to keep them safe instead of taking some of the responsibility themselves. For the most part, they already blast through stop lights and refuse to signal their turns, the hell?
**shakes a fist**
Wait, what were we talking about?
