Double Dragon: "Annie II"
Posted: Friday August 23rd, 2013 by

Have you ever walked into something you thought would be an easy sell and ended up neck deep in an unexpected negotiation? with a big Russian dude named Annie? No? You should. Those are the kinds of things that make life fun. Otherwise you keep telling the same people the same stories about that thing you did that one time that gets you a purse-lipped nod of acknowledgement before they look down into whatever drink they're holding at the time.

This seems to be an ongoing sentiment in the storyline thus far, to go out and have fun. Start up a conversation with someone whose clothing choice makes no sense to you. Give a homeless man a pair of socks, ask him how he's doing, and actually listen to his response. I'll admit, I'm a complete hermit; I don't do any of this nearly enough. It does seem to be the kind of thing that just happens randomly while I'm traveling though. For example, at one of the conventions I attended, my driver was Pierre from the Tim and Eric Show. (Yeah, some of you will have to google it.) I recognized him but didn't mention it. I just smiled and engaged him in conversation. He told me this sweeping story about corporate greed, missing checks, and planning to visit Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta to submit his claims personally. I've also been called out for planning to kidnap R.A. Salvatore, by his son. I'd even drawn a picture. But... that's a story for another time.

I haven't gotten the Artist For Sale banner up yet. I'm still reworking the design of the AFS page. Old code is old. I've had a couple of nibbles on my commission fishing line, but I'm still looking to take on more. So I'm going to post the link here one more time and thank you guys in advance for putting me to work.
