I had to run some errands today, and while I was out I encountered quite a few people wearing what looked to be dog collars. It was kind of odd. Then I remembered, right across the street from the shopping center I was at, the Doubletree Hotel was playing host to the 5th annual Rocky Mountain FurCon.
Yup, just minutes down the road from where I live is a furry convention. Now, where I am eager to break my funny funk, I don't really intend to do so at a Furry Convention. I wish I could say "it's not personal". But really it kind of is. The whole Furry thing just kind of creeps me out. Not quite sure why. I think it has something to do with simultaneously crying out for attention while actively hiding behind a nigh impenetrable facade. **shrugs** Again, I'm not certain.
