I already know what you're thinking... if SOE has announced a termination date for SWG, why not go ahead and zap it? Well, I've seen one too many games put out their own deathclock just to translate the last minute return of users into an excuse to prolong the the game's lifespan. Now I'll admit here that I don't expect SOE to do this. But... I've got a process.
And the CCP micro-transactions thing? Like I said, until it impacts gameplay, it's just not worth ranting about. Yeah, I know; I'm gonna get myself in trouble with that response. But look at it like this, if CCP follows their current pricing plan, buying a ship will cost you billions of actual dollars.

The Supreme Court, in a 7-2 decision, has ruled that "Video games qualify for First Amendment protection. Like protected books, plays, and movies, they communicate ideas through familiar literary devices and features distinctive to the medium".
