World of Warcraft: "Cataclysm Beta"

I've asked Stormhaven countless times if she's logged into Cataclysm Beta recently and the answer thus far has always been no. Like the goblin in the comic, her experience seems to center around the fact that every time she starts the launcher tells her she has a couple of hours worth of patching to do before she can get into the game. I've only encountered that twice fairly on. Once when I first downloaded the client and once when they changed to a new new launcher (I think it was) and I had to download the client again.
Since then my experience with Cataclysm beta seems to revolve around rolling new characters then losing them. I started with a Goblin Mage. Got him into his mid 20's then Blizzard disabled Goblins because they were causing the game to crash. Then rolled a Tauren Paladin (which I was begrudgingly enjoying). I got him close to his level 40 mount and his server disappeared. Rolled up a Worgen Druid and have been having issues logging in as the game crashes frequently now that a Worgen is in my character list.
It's a little frustrating, but it's beta. I think a lot of people forget that. I see them get angry and start spitting about perceived wrongs. Well, that's just silly. We're being allowed to playtest a pre-release version of the game. There are going to be bugs. There are going to be character, equipment, and/or ability wipes. It's the nature of the beta beast.
So what are your best beta horror stories? (Does not have to be about Cataclysm.)
