Before the Tomte PoopCloak Rebellion of 06, Toast was on another mission.
He was tasked with tracking down a wolf carrying a message between villages. He killed wolf after wolf, but it was never there. Try as he might he just couldn't find it.

I later figured out what I was doing wrong with the quest. I was killing the wolf before he got to the message. I had to kill him on the way back. Whoops.
