Last night I looked longingly again at the book I've been trying to read for months. Everytime I think I've got a few moments, something else rushes in to occupy my time. Because of the way GU works out, I really only have one day off each week. And that one day always seems to get gobbled up by non-GU related things that can't be done during the week for whatever reason.
Now, where I fill my time with work, Ted fills his time with games. So, in both cases we seem to be losing our familiarity with printed on paper, bound with glue or thread, pressed between layers of fabric covered cardboard. That's not to say our underexposure is limited to hardback books by the way. The book I've been trying to read is just hardback... so... you know. Consider it an homage or some junk.
And yes, I know the "freakin' book" is backwards. And no, I don't know why. That's just the way I drew it. Kindof like how I have a habit of making everyone left handed (despite being right handed myself). It's like I draw as if looking at life in a mirror. I have to make a conscious effort to catch stuff like that. Sometimes... I don't.
