Gaming News: "VaderKart"

In an interview with the New York Times, several high ranking Lucas Arts reps giggled and gushed about their relative success in the game world compared to just a year or so ago. During the interview Haden Blackman, the project lead on an upcoming title, revealed that Lucas Arts was currently working on a title that would fill in some of Vader's history between Episode III and Episode IV.

I suppose I'm not much of a StarWars fan because I enjoyed the first three movies (IV - VI), and haven't read any of the novels based in the StarWars universe. So, I don't have much of an idea of what Vader DID do between Episode's III and IV. But, when I read the New York Times article (linked in the Gamespot report from above), I got a vivid mental image of what Vader MIGHT have done.
Hey... a Lego interpretation of Star Wars worked... surely a Mario Kart style Vader racing game could work too right? You know... race around the DeathStar force crushing robots and the odd Imperial soldier's throat. Or zipping around the surface of Endor setting freakin' ewoks on fire.
Now THAT's my kind of game.
