Idea Submission: "Mission 1-1"

This idea was sent in Thursday night by Allen B. And where there was really no punchline, the imagery the suggestion provoked made it a "must do" idea.
Here's what Allen had to say about his submission:
Well I don't know if it's "funny" per se. But it's compelling without question. And I loved drawing it. This is why user submitted ideas make the best comics. Something I wouldn't have thought of otherwise, grabbing my imagination and shaking it into action. You can probably see why I wasn't done with it on time for Friday, huh? I just couldn't make myself rush it.
Anyway... the background is apparently from Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I layered in some grassy terrain for the foreground to tie everything together. I think it serves as the perfect visual compliment to the intent of the image.

I don't know about you, but I've never been a fan of the war games that they keep pumping out, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, and... dun dun DUN! Brothers in Arms.
So the idea for the comic is Mario on his knees, holding Luigi's dead body, there standard plumber's hats replaced w/ military hats (with the "L" and "M" still etched into it), and over them (or under them) in giant lettering reads:
Brothers in Arms: Mushroom Kingdom
Anyway's hope ya like. Apologize again if this is a) not as funny as I thought it was, or b) already been presented to you countless number of times. Good luck with the comic.
