Thanks Iiliani for the joke idea. Not having to rack my brain "for the funny", when I'm so focussed on getting into the new place, is such a relief.

We've all been there. We set some ridiculous goal for ourselves in some game we're playing, and we just don't want to quit until we reach it.
"This week, I'm getting 60. And nothing's gonna stop me." Then 4am, thirty-seven hours later, the fabric of our conciousness starts to bend and contort. Reality and the game start to mesh together in an interesting tapestry of distorted perception.
The longer we play the more our in-game vocabulary starts to slip into the real world. So, it's no real stretch of the imagination to confuse the context of a word that can be used both in-game and out.
This would be your cue to relate similar experiences:
Sorry for the missed comic yesterday (9/29). I thought I had everything setup and ready to go. But, somehow I managed to forget to upload the comic before I closed my computer for the last time. When I realized what happened it was too late. So, not having connectivity until around 6pm, and then not getting home from cleaning the old apartment until after ten... I figured I'd just post the panel for Friday. Again... sorry.
