Gaming News: "Either/Or"
Posted: Wednesday November 9th, 2005 by

You know, I said I wouldn't do comics about Jacks antics anymore. More specifically, I wouldn't give him any more press on his "crusade" against video games. And, I don't necessarily think this comic violates that notion.

Withdrawing from the Strickland vs. Sony case is the first thing he's done right since 1986. I still see it as nothing more than a press grab. And, I'm sure he didn't want to risk setting the precendent of having a judge dismiss him from a case because of his antics.

Well, whether he likes it or not, the precedent HAS been set. So, maybe he'll take up a new hobby. Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll still be a bid for attention. Super Hero might be a stretch. Unless he becomes Dr. Ridiculous, using his powers of anti-logic to unweave the fabric of common sense and intelligent discourse.

So that leaves Semi-Professional Chicken Wrestler (I just don't think he has the chops to make it in the professional circuit). And, I think that we, in the spirit of forgiveness, should support Jack in his bid for chicken dominance.

For the sake of a joke getting taken too far... I won't make any suggestions as to HOW to support him in becoming a Semi-Professional Chicken Wrestler. But there ARE sites out there that sell live chickens... and Jack isn't afraid of listing his address on his website. Again, for the sake of NOT taking a joke too far... I won't link those sites. **coughs**

I don't want this thread to be about any of Thompson's past cases, his anti-game crusade, his war with Penny Arcade, etc. Try to keep it to discussions of possible hobbies for Jack. Thanks.
