EverQuest II: "Dude? AGGRO!"

This actually happened to me in the other night while I was beating down trolls in Stranglethorn (to get some old green quests off my list). There was this undead rogue guy lingering around picking up my strays.
Everytime he'd get in trouble he'd run by me, and I'd save his butt. I got tired of it and moved elsewhere... and guess who followed me. I moved again, and sure enough he was quick on my coat tails.
I thought about letting him get trashed just to convince him to stop shadowing me. But, I guess I'm too nice a guy... I just couldn't do that.
So, anyone else have this happen?
