Netflix is being Netflix and acquiring more content in the form of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Gen Fukunaga, co-founder and President of anime distribution company Funimation, is being a big ol' baby and crying about it.

I can't entirely fault Gen, Funimation is losing an iconic Anime series. But his chief complaint is that the series will "arrive without fanfare" and get lost in a sea of content on Netflix. It's hard for me to take that complaint seriously. I mean, so? Folks who are on Netflix for Anime are going to find it. That's what Netflix does. As far as I can tell, this is just sour grapes on Gen's part.
In the realm of "what the f@#k does this matter to Woody?", I've never watched the series, but, once it's on Netflix, the chances are near 100% that I will consume it.
