If Ted were real, he would scare the crap out of me.
The joke is kinda to make fun of the time required to get WoW to beta, and how the hint of such an event may well be a sign of the end of times or some junk.
I'm pretty sure that if we inspect Nostradomus' writings we could find both the prediction of WoW beta and the alien mothership coming to take the true believers to their home world or something similar.
Anywho... since the monkey has not yet been proven to be real, it only made sense than a figment of Ted's imagination would believe as Ted does.
Now... go make yourself a tinfoil hat (please feel free to post pictures for me to laugh at) and praise the coming of WoW beta as a prophetic.
