Ahh the fall of the ubiquitous Twink. As characters leveled and amassed wealth and equipment beyond their individual needs, Alts were created and geared up via the excess. Gearing up your alt did not, however, convey the skill needed to suitably control your character. Such over-geared, under-skilled characters were called Twinks and they died in the most ridiculous ways until the player figured out what they were doing.
