Commissions are BACK! After all this time I'm FINALLY ready to sift through the commission requests again. It's been 4 months now, but I'll be getting back to everyone as quickly as I can. July Contributor Image ( August 9th, 2003 )
I sent out the info email this morning that explains how to retrieve the July Move Contributor Wallpaper. Because of the number of people that donated, I had to sort the Donation records very carefully. The only way I could get the proper emails was to elimate anything that wasn't tagged "Showing the Love", which is how PayPal earmarks donations via the site. Then, to make sure the proper people are rewarded, I could only send the info to the email address associated with the paypal account from which the donation originated.

That's right! New comics will begin again at the beginning of next month. So, not long now. The 1st will also be the day that those of you who donated for the Move will receive my thanks in the form of a wallpaper made specifically for the supporters. I will mail you all with instructions on how to get your hands on the image.
Wallpapers for donations will be a common practice from now on. Each month will see a new image. I hope everyone that donates enjoys them. GU Server: Upgrade Incoming ( July 21st, 2003 )
I just got word from the guys at the SafeHouse Network letting me know that the server GU currently resides on will soon be upgraded. This means faster load times, more stability, redundancy in the face of critical failure, more bandwidth, etc.

So yeah, just when I thought everything would be fine, Life just has to kick me again to prove how wrong I am. And this time, it's really serious. This time I find myself just a few days from having to find somewhere else to live. Luckily the TRUE friends in my life are there to help; and, I seem to be on my way to Boston.
This means that there will be a disturbance in the completion dates for commissions and there will be NO NEW COMICS for a bit. Moving Goal ( July 7th, 2003 )

That's right! GU is going back to being updated 5 times a week, every Monday through Friday. You can expect to see every game I can get my hands on featured in the comic in some way. The upper left hand corner of ever strip will tell you what game is being addressed. And you will be able to find more detailed info about ever comic in the forums.

Well... it's been an interesting week! **grins** And, I just want to thank everyone for their outstanding display of support. I'd particularly like to thank the Forum Regulars (IE. Once again, GU in its time of need, calls out to its fans. Or, more specifically, I want to know what the fans think. Usually I don't jump the gun and ignore the fans, but recent events made me want to do nothing BUT leave EQ out of my work.
But, as it has been in the past, I want to know what the GU FANS think. TELL ME what you would like to see me do: Stick with EQ, go WoW only, cover ALL games. GU at the ConnetiCon ( March 18th, 2003 )

Really tough to get anything current around here, but I'm doing the best I can. And believe me when I tell you it's DAMN annoying. But... what can you do? They host me for free.
UPDATE: Apparently there was some kind of DNS error that was causing the path to the image to resolve improperly too. Being that I can't hand code each individual page... the ARCHIVES are down. There's just NOTHING I can do about it folks. Sorry. COMMISSIONS ( January 1st, 2003 )
Those of you that have asked for commissions but have yet to receive a reply, or a quote, please email me again. As you can well imagine, the holiday season was brutal, and I can't seem to sort through all the emails to find the commission requests. I apologize and ask that you forgive me.
