Duke Nukem Forever: "A Single Tear"

Gearbox says the Duke Nukem Forever is going to hit store shelves in North America May 3rd of this year. [more info] After all these years of development, it seems the pigs might actually fly.
Now, this isn't the first time DNF has gotten a release date. Some of you might recall that when I first introduced the jet pack wearing pig it was to poke at an announced December 2005 release date. At that point the dev cycle was already protracted and now here it is, five and a half years later. The difference? I believe Gearbox -is- going to release the game May 3rd.
I guess we'll see.
