Scribblenauts: "If You Can Type It"
Posted: Tuesday September 15th, 2009 by

I've heard about Scribblenauts quite a bit recently but I hadn't really gone to check it out. I rectified that situation last night. The basic premise is this... for some reason not explained on the site the main character, Maxwell, is collecting these things called Starites. You can type in the name of any "object" and in some cases choose how you interact with it to solve the puzzle and uncover or attain the Starite.

I think the idea is brilliant but I have serious doubts about the ability to type in the name of any object and put it to use. Yeah yeah, I know there are limitations. Scribblenauts has its own personal dictionary that limits what you can and can't type into existence. But think about this... there are 30,000 items in that dictionary.

Now that I've spread the Scribblenauts plague to you. I expect stories of the wierdest items you used to solve problems. **checks watch** No worried. I'll wait. **taps foot**

NOTE: Yes, I know "Mama" Cass Elliot did not choke to death on a piece of ham sandwich. She died of a heart attack.
