Woody & Ted: "Rummage Rummage Rummage"

The Sun posted an article yesterday that interviewed Alison Carroll, the 23 year old, gynastics-trained model selected by Eidos to be the next Lara Croft. The Sun article gives the former golf course receptionist a platform to talk about men, dating, and somehow managing to lock herself into her own apartment. Alison's primary function will be to promote the upcoming Tomb Raider: Underworld title releasing on the 360, PS3, Wii, DS, and PC this November.

I can say with some degree of certainty (since I'm the guy that dreamed him up in the first place), that Ted's obsession with the Lara model extends entirely for his obsession with the Tomb Raider games. Personally, I've never played Tomb Raider. I've never intentionally avoided the game, I've just always managed to find something else I'd rather spend my money on. But I don't begrudge Ted or other gamers their infatuation with Ms. Croft. Whatever makes your pockets wiggle. My gaming obsession leaves me lusting after curves of a completely different kind. **coughs**
It should be noted, I found this article by way of ActionTrip. And when I went back to AT this morning to grab the originating source, there was a link to more pictures of the new Lara model. [more info] These new pictures are what I would like to call... unfortunate. See, apparently Alison is fond of doing high kicks, and the camera person was fond of taking snap shots of her way-too-exposed crotch. To both of them I would like to suggest the oh so helpful airbrush tool in Photoshop. I don't have a prudish hangup about lady bits, but several of those photos are more than unattractive, they are downright off-putting. Unfortunately, I'd illustrated the joke before I found the second shots, or there'd probably be a much different comic for today.
