I may be a Georgia boy, but I love snow. Maybe it was the sheer novelty of it when I was young where we might see snow on the ground once a decade. But out of that novelty true love was born. I moved to Illinois after college. And we got plenty of snow there. But it was always so damned cold.
Now, I love in Colorado. I can walk out on to my front porch and see the mountains. I get snow every year. And because of this area's weather oddness, it's not overly cold. You can actually go out and enjoy the snow. And, again because of this area's weather oddness, you don't have to endure the snow for too long. It's usually gone the next day. Nice heavy snows in three. Then once every handful of years you get a really big snow that reminds you that you're living at the base of a mountain.
Now with a two year old running about, I get to enjoy snow in an all new way. And he seems to love it as much as I do.
So what does all this have to do with gaming and thus makes sense to post in the GU Blog? Well when it's snowy we tend to stay at home a bit more. All together. And thus we watch TV and play games. And what's more GU-esque than that?
